new areWhat do you need to do when your are a new kid in a new school?

I dont mean like, how do you get new friend. What do you do, like enter the school, go to the office and get your schedule and then what? is there like something you need to let he tnew areeachers sign? if yes, what is it call (I am asking about Canadian/American schools, I live in Malaysia, so I dont know a thing)
