The Case of the Missing Cookies
I'm taking my parents to court
to prove I'm an innocent kid.
The judge will most surely agree
that they're wrong about what I did.
Just because all my fingers were sticky
and 拙克力 was on my face,
doesn't mean I stole those cookies.
So there! I rest my case.
What's that you say, you need more proof?
I have an alibi.
When the cookies got stolen, I was outside.
Now I ask you, why would I lie?
You have no witnesses on your side;
just circumstantial lies.
I think the real crook snuck inside
in a masterful disguise.
Maybe he was disguised as me.
I really cannot say.
All I know is I did not
steal any cookies that day.
Now judge, I ask for sympathy,

My folks are looking quite annoyed
that I've taken things this far.
But it's not as if they caught me
with my hands in the cookie jar.
The jury's back, the verdict's in.

To start off right..His name was Joe Might..
Kids laughed at his mistakes.
But what they never realized was that Joe had backaches..
He would moan and groan..and scare all in sight..
because his back was craving ice..
Yet everytime he received it, ice would burn his back..
He wondered why this was happening??
Why had this ice turned hott???
Why was his back scorching hott and why did the kids laugh extremely hard his way??
He wondered this for days till sun rise hoping to get a cue..
When MR/MRs..______*nurse* came in the room, right then she knew..
Joe had been playing with dry ice again and his back was just about through.
The nurse rushed him to the hospital claiming it was a check-up.
The boy was pleased to be released by a grownup.
He didnt care the real reason as long as he was out of school.
But what he didnt realize was teach was having a ball.
They had cakes and pies and soda pop too..
Ice cream, milk, and real ice this time.
Mikeyfunny poetry for kids Behave was round as a bowling ball and could eat a ton.
So you know what he did... He left a mess in the hall..
After stealing all the cakes and pies, Mikey got sick and ate some ice cream to ease the pinch
He decided that wasnt enough and went for more..Starting with the milk straight from the carton and soda pop mixed in all..
When Joe got back from the hospital
patched up well and ready to have fun
The others were on a rampage, ranting not for joy.
All their food was gone and they were pissed..
They hadnt eaten all day since breakfast and they were starving..
They used those emotions into confronting Mikey for their side dish
Joe broke up the fight and said stop this nonsense..
I came back with mr/ms. nurse//and my back stopped aching..
The kids looked at Joe and said Thats nice..but Who are you??
Joe saw some ice in a corner and picked it up to say...I am Joe Might...
In that moment he soon remembered why he burnt his back: to make a point as to who he was to the class.. and dropped the ice in the same way previously..scorching his back and re-injuring his back scar....

homework questions and answersWhen did yahoo answers become a forum for lazy children to get their homework questions answered?
and how often do you find the other questions they've asked are about how you can get away w/texting each other answers for tests in school? What ever happened to learning for yourself?
I was wondering the same thing. It amazes me how many home work questions are asked on here.
I wish they would take the time to take notes and go over them and re-read their books. Also, please get tutoring if you need it. You are never going to learn anything if you do not study and put an effort!!
Sometimes the students do study, listen in class, and take good notes it's just that there's sometimes way to many crap on their plates. School is tough and overwhelming for some but whining about how Y/A is a bunch of lazy kids isn't really going to solve anything, plus there's like 50+ threads...
people are too lazy, dont want to go to study groups, dont want to pay attention in class, so when its crunch time, they panic and ask strangers to do their question for them

It really annoys me when they can't even be bothered to take the numbers off the questions, or rephrase them so it's not completely obvious that it's homework. Someone even posted their entire fihomework questions and answersnal in the astronomy section today. Fortunately most of the posters there are more likely to mock and scold them than do it for them.
Your question got me thinking. I did some googling and found no less than 3 sites that will write your PhD thesis for you in it's entirety , it's the parents who let their children use the pc anyway they want. They could be watching porn as well...

But not everyone uses Yahoo answers to get "freebies" for their homework. Some of those folks out there might actually need help but are unable to get a hold of a teacher or someone that'll lend a hand at the time.
It's very saddening that stuff like that is happening. But what these kids don't realize is that by doing that, they don't learn anything. My advice? Get singing lessons! If you know it can be fixed, it doesn't have to be fixed by the likes of Disney. Once you've got your voice how you want it, start. Perform in talentdisney jonas brothers shows, audition for musical theatre productions, audition for commercials and maybe small TV parts. I know these aren't all necessarily music, but once you're in showbusiness it's easy to venture into other parts of it - ie. music!

#1) Magic Johnson - Simply put NO OTHER PLAYER impacted the game as much as Larry and Magic...and Magic was the best of the 2.
Strengths: Unmatched size in a guard. He could see over a defense and post up a guard, creating a match-up nightmare. Probably the best, if not most exciting, point guard on the fast break. He can play a variety of roles. He was a supporting player to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar when he joined the team, and later became the focal point of the offense. He could play fast break and he could play slow-down, as he proved in 1991. He played every position as a rookie in the deciding game 6 of the finals and put up a game for the ages, winning the title without Jabbar.
Weaknesses: He never was the shooter and scorer that Bird was. He developetop basketball players of all timed a respectable shot from the perimeter, but never the deadly jumper of Bird. His poor decisions off the court shortened his career, which ultimately hurt his team. He was a good, but not dominating defensive player.
Analysis: Bird and Magic is a comparison that will be debated forever. It is extremely hard to pick between the two. In the end, I go with Magic because of these reasons: Magic could play more positions, but Bird had the more well-rounded game. Each won championships with talented supporting teams, but Bird turned a bad Boston team around immediately. Magic joined a 47 win Lakers team and improved them 13 wins, which wasn't as drastic as Bird's 32 game improvement.
#2)Larry Bird
Strengths: Excellent jump shot. Fundamentally sound player. Automatic at the free throw line. The greatest clutch player since Jerry West. Very good team defender (meaning he could play a zone and hide it). His first year, he improved the Celtics 32 games in the win-loss. When he missed 76 games in the 1989 season, Boston replaced him with Reggie Lewis (who was 2nd in most improved player voting), yet the Celtics slipped from 57 wins to 40, despite having Lewis, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parish on the roster.
Weaknesses: His lack of athleticism only affected one area: he wasn't a great on-the-ball defender. His hustle shortened his career and made him injury prone, but you don't condemn a player for diving for balls and sacrificing his body for the team.
Analysis: If you doubt his ability to improve a random group of players, look at what he did in college - he took a team of no-names to a near perfect season. His first year in the NBA, without McHale and Parish, he turned the Celtics from a 29-win joke to the best record in basketball. When he missed 1989, they fell apart without him.
#3)Bill Russell
Strengths: Nobody won more than Russell. Winning requires a lot of favorable factors (as I showed at the top), but face it. When Russell was in college, they won 2 championships and 55 straight games, and he didn't play on a powerful team. His first year with the Celtics, they win the title. He won 11 titles in 13 years. The two years he didn't win, they were in the finals (where he got injured) and the conference finals. When he retired, his team failed to make the playoffs. The man had impact! Other strengths: possibly the most athletic center to player the game. Very quick leaper. Excellent timing. Great speed. Not many centers, if any, could run the floor on the break, like Russell. He is regarded by everybody as the greatest defender in history. His timing and leaping made him the greatest shot blocker. Only he mastered the skill of blocking shots to teammates, creating 4 point swings for his team. He finished in the top 10 in assists four times, and finished #2 in career rebounds.
Weakness: He was small for a center (about 6'10", 220). No doubt he could beef up in todays game, and if Alonzo Morning can be a 6'10" center, then Russell could also, but would he be able to dominate against bigger men? I don't doubt he would excel in any era.

Hi, I'm thinking of moving to Austin, TX and I would like some pointing in the right direction. I plan on finding an apartment and would like too know nice and safe areas.
I like central, hyde park, travis heights, close to everyaustin txthing and easy to take the bus or ride your bike. NW is too far from the action.
Avoid East of I35 and near UT and the Skyline. There are some nice apartments right in the city but they're super expensive. I lived on the NW side oaustin txf Austin and it was great.
North side of Austin or go with the round rock area which is 5 minutes from Austin

I like central, hyde park, travis heights, close to everyaustin txthing and easy to take the bus or ride your bike. NW is too far from the action.
Avoid East of I35 and near UT and the Skyline. There are some nice apartments right in the city but they're super expensive. I lived on the NW side oaustin txf Austin and it was great.
North side of Austin or go with the round rock area which is 5 minutes from Austin

I guess the reason for people saying "betta fish" is that they are in the vast group of people who don't really pay attention to what is told to them and don't really read what is put in front of them to read. Their parents either didn't care or gave up and decided it was easier to let them off than to discipline them.

its almost a subconscious thing. I did run into a problem when I had one. i did say I have a "betta" and some people would say "huh? what?" so I would have to say "betta fish" before they got it.

I could be because they pronounce the name incorrectly (BAY-tah), so when they tell people they got a BAY-tah, they're asked what kind (old vcr, Greek letter), so they have to specify it's a fish. They just get tired of being asked, so start saying (and writing) "betta (or beta) fish".
My pet peeve is the use of the term "fries" for the plural of fry, when fry is both singular and plural. When people ask what they should do with their bettas fries, it gives me a completely different visual. ;)

Well, this semester I'm taking an art class and part of the class is keeping an art journal. Basically it's a book (as in an actual novel type of book) which we get to write, draw, and paint all over.
We have an assignment where we have to incorporate words into our art and I came up with an idea to have a quote like, let's say "Life Is Wonderful!" and right after the word "Is" I'd have a small pocket in the page where you can pull out a small piece of paper with the letters "n't". So then, with the paper out of the pocket, it would read "Life ISN'T Wonderful!"
Problem is I don't want to have the quote Life Is/Isn't Wonderful!
Any short quotes similar to that I'dquotes life being wonderful really appreciate!! I'm swamped with incomplete artwork and I'm about ready to scream my brains out. =]

I want to know how the Yahoo Search Engine can be restored to normal when a spyware and/or other viruses affected the system. I have been downloading some anti-spyware programs, such as Spybot, to reverse the effects and I want to know what applications I can used to turn the search engine back to normal. I had the same problem a few weeks ago and i fixed it without installing anything. It's a virus called "go.googleyahoo search engine". I tried installing stuff and still didn't work. The next steps worked for me so I guess this is the best way.
Go to Start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > View > Show Hidden Devices.
Scroll down to “Non-plug and Play Drivers” and click the plus icon to open those drivers.
Then search for “TDSSserv.sys”
Right click on it, and select “Disable”
Note: If you select Uninstall, it will install itself again when you reboot the system, so DON’T select Uninstyahoo search engineall.
Restart your pc.
You can now update your Antirus/Malware/Rootkit softwares and the go.google rubbish will stop.
Hope this helps as much as it helped me. That virus is REALLY annoying. = )

I just got done watching Tyler Perry's The Family That Preys and I heard this song in one scene where Charlotte and Alice are in the car and Charlotte hears the song and starts marveling over and tells Alice to listen.
I was just thinking about how DULL I always thought that song was and overrated and then heard the song done by someone else, near the end of the movie, in the scene where Alice rides off in Charlotte's old convertible (GLADYS KNIGHT-You go girl! XD), so maybe it was the version cuz Gladys and her crew made it sound 50% better. I am sorry, but the original is really dull....Anybody agree?

The last couple of years. I have stayed up on the current events. I also did some research. The government has paid the families of the hollocust victims and even the victims of the atomic bomb in japan, what was rightfully owed to them. Why not to any blacks? I never heard of changing the lyrics on radio stations... I'm not sure if that's been done. Most likely the song simply wouldn't be played (for example, on a Christian radio station.)
I like the song, although I don't agree with the message. It already seems so dated... The idea that "above us [there is] only sky" hasn't solved the world's problems.
Me the song is communist propaganda.
I never cared for that song. Without God, there is NO peace.
I just think it is a dumb song.
and I am a fan of his music, in general.
The song is silliness spewing from a drug addicted fool.
