I deleted my safari while back coz it was starting to act slow,so now i download the safari again using the cd from my macbook bundle but is safari 2.04.and when i go to apple.com where it says download safari for mac and windows,i can only see the ones for vista and xp,and for mac it says it is now available in software update.I then check my software update but cant see it anymore in there:S

May I just say that according to Mac tech help you should download "Opera" instead of Safari, it's the fastest web browser around, just google it and find one that's compatible for your mac..
Firefox man. It's the same basic concept, with more plugins and skins and a browser that's frankly better programmed, less freezing, and whatnot.
The fudownload safari 3.2 for windowsll version of Safari 3.0.4 (not a beta) is included with the latest updates for Tiger (10.4.x) and Leopard (10.5.x). It isn't available for earlier versions of OS X.
You can't get it separately, only as part of the OS update. Just install everything in software update and you should get it.
