Reba has released 33 albums, and has only written or co-written about 11 songs. Taylor Swift has released two albums, and has co-written or written all of her songs.
Because Reba is a singer!!! Not a song-writer. Its quite clear that Taylor should just stick to writing and let someone else sing, her voice is terrible!!

1 the only instrument reba plays is her voice! (yes that is an instrument, ask any musician)
2 when reba was a kid, if u ever heard the story abt the family band (i think it was a band?) her brother played guitar while she and sis sang.

Who cares. It's quality that counts, not quantity. I would much rather listen to any Reba McEntire song than any of the crap that Taylor Swift ever wrote. She is immature, childish, and has a one-track mind. Every song she writes is about teenybopper high-school relationships. It's like a little girl's songs taylor swiftdiary set to music. Most of her fans are little girls between 10 and 12 years old. It is totally pathetic that she is destroying the country music genre like she is, even though her music is not even close to what country music is supposed to sound like.
hmm I dunno . . . I guess you'd have to go ask them if you want their answer haha. But I think it's just because Taylor Swift sings from the heart. She doesn't sing just for the money or for the fame . . . you can tell she REALLY loves it with all her heart. So I guess maybe the fact that she cares so much about it makes her strive to write most of it?
PLUS Taylor Swift's songs are pretty much all based on HER own life && experiences. It's hard to have someone else write about your life ha =D
Tayler Swuft writes baby songs that appeals to the pop crowd of teeny boppers . She can not sing , nor can she write a mature song . You may ask this same question over and over again , it's not gonna make hsongs taylor swifter sound any better , not going to sell her junk to country listeners and it's not going to ligitimize her in any way to us .
Because that.s taylors dream and she writes songs becuase that is her way of expressing herself. When she was younger she was kinda outcasted from school and didnt fit in, she turned to music and expressed what she was feeling through song and lyric. Thats what she.s still doing. It.s her passion

I have no idea why Reba doesn't write more of her songs. It doesn't seem to have affected her career too badly. Can't understand why some people are so obsessed over the fact that some singers write their own songs and some singers don't.
