I get plenty of hours of sleep each night (9-10). I have excessive sleepiness starting in the early afternoon. I try so hard not to nap, but if I get to I usually sleep at least 5 hrs. It is getting to be so annoying and inconvenient to be tired ALL the time and then not be able to sleep at night because of taking such longexcessive daytime sleepiness causes naps. I am getting SO frustrated. Is it a health thing? Do I need to workout more? HELP!
try eating healthier and exercising more

I'd say you're getting too much sleep. You only really need about 8 hours a night, be sure you have a regular sleeping pattern with as many wakiexcessive daytime sleepiness causesng daylight hours as possible. And make sure you have plenty of iron and vitamins C, D and B in your diet.
expanding on stephers, you also need vitamin K.
D and K both work with iron to provide proper red blood cell function.
If you have a lot of caffeine you need to stop. That really tires you out.
